Pricing Executive - Import Export

Location: AnandVihar

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end pricing activities for import and export shipments across air and sea freight.
• Obtain, negotiate, and compare freight rates from airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, and logistics partners.
• Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations for customers and the sales team.
• Calculate total shipment costs, applicable surcharges, and profit margins to ensure profitable pricing.
• Coordinate with internal sales, operations, and overseas agents for rate requests and shipment requirements.
• Maintain and regularly update freight rate sheets, pricing databases, and quotation records.
• Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, peak-season surcharges, and competitor pricing.
• Ensure timely submission of quotations and follow up on pending rate requests.
• Verify rate validity and applicable charges to minimize pricing errors and unexpected costs.
• Support the sales team in developing competitive pricing strategies and improving business opportunities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 810 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding pricing or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of air freight and sea freight pricing for import and export shipments.
• Experience negotiating rates with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, and freight partners.
• Good understanding of Incoterms, freight charges, surcharges, and international shipping procedures.
• Ability to prepare quotations, calculate shipment costs, and maintain healthy profit margins.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and pricing/rate management systems.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
