Pricing Executive (Ocean Import)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Ocean Import pricing inquiries from customers and the sales team.

• Obtain and negotiate competitive rates from shipping lines, overseas agents, and vendors.

• Prepare and share accurate freight quotations within the required timelines.

• Maintain updated ocean freight rates and pricing databases.

• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, and internal operations teams.

• Analyse market rates and ensure competitive pricing.

• Support the sales team with pricing for new business opportunities.

• Follow up on quotations and assist in converting inquiries into business.

• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of rates and quotations.

• Monitor rate validity, surcharges, free days, and other applicable charges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Ocean Import Pricing/Freight Forwarding.

• Good knowledge of Ocean Freight, Import Pricing, Shipping Lines, and Freight Forwarding processes.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.

• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple pricing requests.

• Good coordination skills with customers, agents, vendors, and internal teams.

• Candidates from the freight forwarding/logistics industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
