Pricing Executive/Senior Executive Freight Forwarding

We are looking for a dynamic Pricing Executive / Senior Executive with strong experience in freight forwarding pricing to manage spot and contract rates, support key accounts, and work closely with sales, operations, and overseas agents. The role requires deep understanding of export logistics, shipping lines, and cost structures to deliver competitive and profitable pricing solutions.

Job Description:

This role involves several crucial responsibilities within the realm of logistics and shipping management:

Key Duties:

• Prepare and manage air & ocean freight pricing for export shipments (FCL / LCL / Air).
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents to negotiate best possible rates.
  • Support Key Accounts, Sales, and Business Development teams with timely and competitive quotations.
  • Analyze market trends, vessel schedules, and rate fluctuations to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy of rates, surcharges, and validity while sharing quotations with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Export Documentation, Port Operations, and Transport teams to ensure operational feasibility of quoted rates.
  • Maintain pricing databases, rate sheets, and quotation records in LOGY SYS.
  • Assist in customer retention by offering optimized pricing solutions and alternatives.
  • Handle escalations related to pricing discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline
  • 3-7 years of experience in Freight Forwarding industry ONLY, specifically in Pricing
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, port operations, shipping lines, and freight costing
  • Hands-on experience with ocean & air freight pricing
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in LOGY SYS (desirable)
