Pricing Officer (Ocean Freight)

Job Specification and Education Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related fields.

Professional Experience:

• At least 1-2 years experiences in Export NVOCC or Freight forwarder company.
• Having experience in imports-exports
• Experience of all shipping lines routing and strengths of each shipping line’s trade lanes.
• Experience on negotiating of ocean freight pricing, and issuing quotation to clients.
• Experience in coordinating with overseas agent, sales team, customer service.
• Understand ocean freight inquiries as well current incoterms®2020.
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
• Optional: To know operation works i.e. Break Bulk, Roro, OOG, Tank Container, Dangerous Goods, Bill of Entry.

Knowledge & Skill:

• Computer literacy and skills, especially Microsoft office software.
• Able to work independently under pressure with tight deadline.
• Responsible, Honest, Fast learner, Good attitude with the ability to work as a team.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking & negotiation of ocean freight from shipping lines and cost control.
• To respond all inquiries.
• To Communicate with overseas agents regarding all inquiries.
• To securing space on all carriers website.
• To issue quotation to clients and overseas agent.
