Pricing Staff

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

• Support Business Development Department by providing price and technical assistance to Sales and Marketing.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handles the technical evaluation and preparation of cost for RMR products and project inquiries, ensuring technical requirements, specifications, and project conditions are properly evaluated.
• Performs costing take-off and prepares cost for RMR standard products and other costing requirements.
• Provides technical support to Account Officers during client technical meetings, biddings and site inspections, particularly for technical evaluation and costing purposes.
• Develops, establishes, and maintains RFQ and costing checklists, standard costing procedures, templates, and technical references.
• Reviews and validates commercial proposals to ensure that technical requirements, scope, costing, selling prices, margins, and commercial terms are accurate and properly reflected before submission to the client.
• Coordinates directly with Design, Field Service, and Purchasing teams to obtain accurate technical inputs, material requirements, labor requirements, supplier quotations, lead times, and other information necessary for reliable project costing.
• Attends bidding kick-off meetings with the Sales team to understand project requirements, scope, specifications, commercial considerations, timelines, and other factors affecting costing and proposal preparation.
• Provides technical and costing support in the implementation of Marketing Projects and other business development initiatives.
• Maintains an organized documentation system for the section, ensuring confidentiality, proper document control, traceability, and availability of backup copies.
• Ensures compliance with 5S policies and practices within the work area.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Marketing Supervisor and Business Development Manager.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

• College Graduate, preferably in Electrical Engineering course or related.
• At least one year of experience in same capacity or related industry.
