Pricing Staff (Freight Forwarding)

Key responsibilities:

1. Prepare and provide price quotations to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. Responsible in fulfilment for domestics, air, import and projects RFQs.
2. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess pricing trends, cost structures, and customer behaviors.
3. Acquire, negotiate, update, and develop pricing strategies to vendors, overseas/domestic agents, shipping lines, co-loaders, etc. Tailored to domestics, air, import and project services, aligning them with business objectives.
4. Create and maintain pricing models that consider various factors, such as costs, demand, market conditions, and profit margins.
5. Continuously review and adjust pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
6. Maintain accurate records of pricing structures, discounts, and promotions.
7. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of services and recommend cost-saving measures when applicable.
8. Monitor and assess the profitability of domestics, air, import and project services, identifying areas for improvement.
9. Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify logistics costs and align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
10. Communicate pricing changes and strategies to customers and address inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree from any field. Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
3. Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia.
4. Familiarity with freight forwarder, import/export processes, domestic logistics is advantageous.
5. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex pricing structures.
7. Results-oriented with a focus on revenue and profitability optimization.
8. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Ms. Office and relevant software tools.
