Job Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable and innovative Primary Mathematics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop, review, and improve Mathematics learning content for primary-grade students. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, an understanding of the CBSE curriculum, and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, and concept-focused learning resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review Mathematics content aligned with the CBSE primary curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, and practice materials.
• Ensure mathematical concepts are presented accurately and in a child-friendly manner.
• Design engaging activities to develop students' numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Create competency-based and application-oriented questions.
• Develop assessment questions according to learning outcomes and grade-level expectations.
• Review and edit textbooks, worksheets, question banks, and digital learning content.
• Ensure content follows appropriate pedagogical approaches for primary learners.
• Provide subject-matter guidance to teachers and academic teams.
• Identify common learning difficulties and suggest effective teaching strategies.
• Develop remedial and enrichment resources for different levels of learners.
• Support the creation of visual, activity-based, and experiential Mathematics resources.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers, teachers, editors, and academic teams.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all Mathematics content.
• Stay updated with changes in CBSE curriculum, competency-based education, and modern Mathematics teaching methodologies.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-training qualification preferred.
• Additional qualifications in Mathematics education or curriculum development will be an advantage.

Experience

• Experience teaching Primary Mathematics in a CBSE school is preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development, academic content creation, textbook development, or teacher training will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with strong Mathematics subject knowledge and relevant teaching experience may also be considered.

Salary

As per school/organization norms and based on qualification and experience.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
