Primary School Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Primary School Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the school are hygienic, well-maintained, and ready for daily activities. time 6:30pm to 10:30pm

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, floors are swept and mopped, and waste is properly disposed of throughout the school premises
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a tidy appearance
• Restock cleaning supplies and restroom essentials as needed to ensure continuous availability
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent hygiene standards across the school

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Reliable with good time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently
• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff members

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
