Are you passionate about teaching and helping children learn and succeed academically?

Cedarwood is looking for enthusiastic, patient and dedicated academic teachers to conduct engaging offline academic support sessions for children.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct academic support classes for school-going children.
• Help students understand and strengthen concepts in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and other school subjects.
• Provide age-appropriate explanations, examples and practice activities.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, projects and academic preparation.
• Identify areas where students need additional support and provide individual attention.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, study habits and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for school assessments, tests and examinations.
• Follow the provided curriculum, lesson plans and learning objectives.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, supportive and child-friendly classroom environment.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong subject knowledge and good communication skills.
• Experience or strong interest in teaching school-going children.
• Experience teaching children, preferably 4–14 years, will be an advantage.
• Patient, confident and encouraging personality.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and in a simple, engaging manner.
• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods according to the child's learning needs.
• Qualifications in Education, English, Mathematics, Science or a relevant subject will be an advantage.
• Willing to conduct offline classes at our Pune centres.
• Immediate/early joining preferred.
