Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Stockport and Greater Manchester!

The Role – Primary Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils who need additional help.
• Work with small groups of children to develop literacy, numeracy and other key skills.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, preparation of resources and general classroom organisation.
• Encourage children to build confidence, independence and a love of learning.

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable.
• Relevant qualifications are an advantage, but enthusiasm and the right attitude are equally important.

Requirements: Successful applicants will be subject to the relevant safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check, in line with the role and school requirements.
