Duties

• Deliver engaging, personalised tutoring sessions tailored to each child's learning needs and abilities
• Support students in developing foundational skills across core subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, and science
• Implement creative teaching strategies to motivate and encourage active participation from children
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure continuous growth
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student progress, challenges, and achievements
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student milestones, and areas for improvement

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children, preferably within primary education settings
• Strong understanding of child development principles and special education needs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with young learners
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles
• Prior experience working with children who have special educational needs is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training in education or tutoring are advantageous but not mandatory
