Prime Mover Driver (Container Handling Specialist)

Requirements: Singapore Class 4/5 license, at least 1 year of Prime Mover driving experience (FCL & LCL); PSA course preferred

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure timely collection and delivery of containers to/from ports, depots and customer premises
2. Comply with all LTA and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations
3. Conduct daily vehicle inspection and basic vehicle maintenance and housekeeping of assigned vehicle
4. Handle and verify all shipping documents (DO, pick-up orders, etc.)
5. Ensure delivery documents are properly endorsed before leaving customer premises
6. Check and confirm container number, seal number and container condition
7. Report any accidents, damages, discrepancies or delays immediately to Traffic Controller / Supervisor
8. Assist with simple troubleshooting or coordination in case of breakdown
9. Maintain good communication and professional conduct with port personnel and customers
10. Report any on-site issues to Traffic Controller / Superior
