Position: Principal

Experience: 15-25 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Curriculum: IB (School currently till Grade 10, DP being introduced for Grades 1112)Experienced IB Principal with strong academic and leadership background.
Responsibilities: Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, taking the lead on academic standards, curriculum development, pastoral care, and assessment. Encouraging high lesson standards through maintenance and updating of school curriculum Overseeing and ensuring the school’s commitment to quality education and its continued improvement, with a main focus on students’ outcomes. Adapted data management system to capture and track different sources of data providing a triangulation of judgements to ensure effective analysis, reliability and integrity of judgements to support intervention planning and pupil progress discussions.  Some of the fundamental principles that are guiding this journey are:

Keeping in mind the social context that has been changing and how children think and relate due to technological advancements schools need to make a concerted effort to move towards a learner centric approach to teaching. Teachers need to understand the needs of the students and enable them to develop their skills. An approach emphasizing enquiry & discovery is highly recommended. And for that there is a need to continuously revisit core principles & philosophies – that too as a community. The process needs to be organic and collective.

Must Haves:

• A Masters degree from a reputed institution, with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Education and good years of overall work experience.
• Should have provided academic thought leadership: Have a deep understanding of meaningful education and its overall purpose in life.
• IB curriculum experience is must.
• Demonstrated experience of having provided transformational leadership and brought in change in an institution through strong understanding of pedagogy, child development & learning.
• Excellent interpersonal, integrity, leadership and communication skills to challenge & motivate academic, administrative staff and students.
