A leading WA Health organisation is seeking an experienced Principal Contract Manager to join its Procurement and Contract Management function on a 6-month fixed-term basis. Working within a high-performing team, you will play a key leadership role managing a complex strategic contract and driving strong commercial, governance and service delivery outcomes.

Your new role

Reporting to the Director of Procurement and Contract Management, you will:

• Lead a specialist contracts team responsible for a complex, high-value contract.
• Manage contractual performance, compliance, risk and governance requirements.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate contractual matters and drive commercial outcomes.
• Develop reporting frameworks and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
• Ensure service delivery obligations are achieved across a long-term partnership environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience managing complex contracts within a government or highly regulated environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation capability.
• Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent governance, reporting and risk management skills.
• Understanding of public sector procurement and contract management frameworks.
