Principal Data Analyst - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Data Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will serve as a strategic People Analytics partner, helping business leaders turn workforce data into clear decisions and practical actions. You will translate complex business questions into analytics work, surface trends and risks, and deliver insights that improve workforce outcomes. The position also requires strong collaboration across business partners and analytics teams to drive adoption of self-service reporting and executive-ready recommendations.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $112,700 – $193,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic consultant for People Analytics to support business decisions
• Translate business questions into analytics engagements and recommendations
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends and risks
• Lead analytics projects from problem definition to stakeholder adoption
• Develop executive-ready presentations and reports
• Build relationships with business partners to identify workforce opportunities
• Promote self-service reporting solutions and guide stakeholders
• Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure quality analyses

Qualifications

• 7+ years in People Analytics or a related analytical consulting role
• Experience partnering with business leaders to solve workforce challenges
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and visualization tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent consulting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
