Newman Stewart is partnering with a global technology and engineering organisation to recruit a Principal Electronics Engineer. The Role

As Principal Electronics Engineer, you will take a leading role in the development of sophisticated electronic systems used within advanced scientific and industrial instrumentation. Operating as a recognised technical authority, you will provide expertise across the full product development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through to validation, manufacture and ongoing product support.

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will collaborate closely with software, systems and scientific specialists to develop robust, high-performance solutions that meet demanding technical requirements. In addition to driving technical excellence, you will contribute to the development of engineering capability across the business through mentoring, knowledge sharing and the promotion of best practice.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished Electronics Engineer with a strong academic background and relevant qualifications in Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Physics or a related discipline. Combining expertise in electronic design, embedded systems and FPGA technology, you will have a proven track record of delivering complex engineering solutions within a high-technology environment. Equally comfortable providing technical leadership and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, you will bring strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a passion for innovation. Experience within scientific instrumentation, advanced sensing, precision engineering or other technically demanding sectors would be highly advantageous.
