Principal Engineer, AI Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Engineer, AI Platform to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will shape the technical direction of a high-scale AI platform that powers personalized experiences and productivity across a massive consumer audience.

You will drive platform capabilities spanning Generative AI and recommender systems while partnering closely with engineering teams to improve reliability, scale, and developer effectiveness.

The role also calls for strong cross-functional leadership, with an emphasis on fostering collaboration, mentoring talent, and turning technical strategy into measurable business impact.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $242,634 – $499,541 annually

• Set the technical vision and roadmap for the AI Platform.
• Drive initiatives enhancing Generative AI and recommender systems capabilities.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AI/ML infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience building large-scale production-grade systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, or Rust.
• Experience leading initiatives across multiple organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
