Principal Engineer / Senior Engineer (Civil / Structural)

A multi-disciplinary consultancy firm, headquartered in Hong Kong with architectural, structural and building services specialists covering Macau, China and South East Asia. We are now looking for experienced and high caliber Engineers to join our Civil & Structural Engineering team in Hong Kong.

Principal Engineer / Senior Engineer (Civil / Structural)

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Membership of MHKIE (Structural) & MHKIE (Civil)
• At least 4 years post MHKIE for Senior Engineer position & at least 8 years post MHKIE for Principal Engineer position
• Experience in the field of building structures and must possess the ability to develop the structural frame system from architectural drawings
• Experience in Civil Projects will be an advantage
• Proficiency in using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 & PROKON
• Proficiency in SADS, CAD and Revit will be considered as advantages
• Proficiency with the Architectural Services Department’s and Housing Department’s procedures and practice will be a major advantage
• Able to go up to CEDD/HyD/BD/SCU/ICU to deal with structural submissions
• Sound understanding the contract terms in civil engineering & building structures
• Work closely with professional consultants and attend meetings on behalf of the project team
• Familiar with cost optimization for structures
• Able to lead a team of Engineers to achieve the project goals
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
