A reputable international school in Lagos offering the British, American, and Nigerian curricula is seeking to appoint a highly competent, visionary, and experienced school principal to lead its academic and administrative operations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should:

✅ Possess strong leadership and administrative experience in a reputable school or international school environment.

✅ Have sound knowledge and experience in the delivery and management of the British, American, and Nigerian curricula.

✅ Demonstrate excellent knowledge of modern teaching, learning, assessment, and school management practices.

✅ Be highly proficient in ICT and competent in using digital tools and technology for school administration, communication, data management, teaching, learning, and educational development.

✅ Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

✅ Demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, supervise, and develop teaching and non-teaching staff.

✅ Be committed to safeguarding, student welfare, discipline, and the holistic development of every learner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the school.
• Ensure high academic standards and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
• Oversee the effective implementation of the British, American, and Nigerian Curricula.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance.
• Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative school culture.
• Ensure effective communication with staff, students, parents, and school management.
• Use technology and data effectively to improve school operations and student outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding standards, and relevant educational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess relevant educational and professional qualifications, with significant experience in school leadership and administration. A proven track record as a Principal, Vice Principal, Head of School, or in a senior leadership position will be an advantage.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in educational management and planning (Masters is an Advantage)
• with other Professional certificates in education and leadership
