Principal Process Engineer, Clinical Operations

Are you passionate about driving operational efficiency in clinical production? Join us as a dynamic Principal Process Engineer to revolutionize our clinical production processes and build out workflows for our team of medical imaging analysts. In this pivotal role, you'll design and lead the operating model behind our team of expert image analysts, from the moment an image arrives to the moment results reach a clinician. You’ll set the metrics, build the workflows, and drive the handoffs with Clinical QA, SQA, Product, and Engineering that let us scale with confidence in an FDA-regulated environment. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on process leader who pairs lean rigor with startup pragmatism and a background in medical imaging or medical devices. Your work will directly shape how our AI-enabled technology reaches patients as we rapidly commercialize.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering or a process optimization role, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity owning process strategy across multiple teams.
• Experience leading process improvements and operational efficiency within a medical software, SaaS product, medical imaging, or medical device organization.
  • Experience with cardiac computed tomography angiography (CCTA) or other cardiac imaging preferred.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma experience, with a strong eye for optimization and a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience using data to build dashboards, capacity plan and drive decisions.
• Experience mentoring or leading other process engineers or team members.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to champion change, influence and align a diversity of internal stakeholders, including those at the executive level.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and compliance.

Work Location:

• This role is on-site, based out of our office in Boston, MA. We operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration.

Salary Range:

• The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $135,00-$165,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.

At Elucid, we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
