Principal Product Manager, AI Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Manager AI Platform to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $190,000 – $280,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own vision for a governed AI Gateway managing model traffic and decision-making at scale
• Define roadmap for evaluation engine ensuring quality before reaching users
• Champion the trust-and-autonomy ladder for scalable agent independence and accountability
• Oversee production path for self-hosted LLM and ML workloads under a single platform
• Define metrics to track platform performance and business impact
• Establish partnerships with engineering and data science to reflect real usage in platform development
• Manage complex platform backlogs while balancing trade-offs and resource constraints

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with 4+ years focused on infrastructure or AI/ML systems
• Proven experience scaling technical platforms for internal engineering or data-science teams
• Technical fluency in AI/ML stack, including model serving, API gateways, and cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure
• Ability to utilize telemetry and cost data to inform product strategy
