Principal Scientific Data Visioneer

We are seeking a senior scientific data professional to help life sciences organizations improve how they capture, manage, integrate, and use scientific data. This role combines scientific expertise, strategic thinking, and practical delivery, with a mindset that treats data and processes as valuable organizational assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess scientific workflows, data environments, and business needs.
• Develop strategies and roadmaps for scientific data management, integration, and accessibility.
• Embed FAIR and ALCOA+ principles into data practices to strengthen data integrity, quality, traceability, and reuse.
• Translate scientific requirements into actionable recommendations and solutions.
• Advise on data governance and readiness for analytics and AI.
• Work with scientists, IT teams, and leadership to guide implementation and adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in scientific data, scientific informatics, or R&D technology within life sciences.
• Strong understanding of scientific workflows and the challenges of managing complex scientific data.
• Demonstrated commitment to treating data and processes as assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of FAIR principles, ALCOA+, and related data governance and integrity frameworks.
• Experience with scientific data platforms, laboratory systems, or data integration initiatives.
• Ability to communicate effectively with scientific, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and deliver practical business outcomes.
