Principal Security Architect

This role focuses on IT/OT Network Architecture, enforcing the Purdue Model network segmentation and Zero Trust boundaries across hybrid cloud and field OT/SCADA environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and validate security controls, ensuring compliance with TSA Pipeline Security Directives and API standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Author High-Level and Low-Level Designs, including boundary control diagrams and enterprise security patterns aligned with TOGAF principles.
• Design telemetry collection and implement SIEM rule tuning and EDR/XDR strategies across IT/OT boundaries to enhance security posture.
• Conduct threat modeling and cyber risk evaluations for major capital projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with teams to enforce Zero Trust security measures and the Purdue Model for network segmentation in various environments.

Required Qualifications:

• TOGAF certification highly preferred, demonstrating knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
• Proven career progression from hands-on technical roles into a principal architecture role, showcasing leadership in security architecture.
• Strong working knowledge of CIS Controls, NIST SP 800-82, and ISA/IEC 62443, essential for securing industrial control systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Fortinet Security Fabric, indicating hands-on technical skills in security tools.
• Deep experience securing midstream, energy, or industrial control system (ICS/OT) environments, highlighting relevant industry experience.
