Principal Software Engineer

About Us:

Kurtosys builds the platform that asset and wealth managers use to create and ship client-facing reports and data-driven docs at scale. We're a regulated fintech (ISO-27001 certified), four offices globally, fully on AWS.

We're hiring a Principal Software Engineer to own features start to finish: architecture, code, deployment, and keeping an eye on it once it's live. AI isn't a "nice to have" on our roadmap, it's how we build. Our engineers use AI daily for architecture, code, review, testing, all of it.

You'll be working across React/TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL/SingleStore, and AWS/Cloudflare.

The Role:

• Digging into business problems with product and design
• Owning features end-to-end.
• Using AI to move fast, with the judgement to know when it's wrong.
• Pushing for better process and tooling, not just better code.
• Building for a regulated industry, with accessibility, security, and audit trails baked in from the start.

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of Software Development experience
• Bachelors / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
• Real experience owning a platform end-to-end, from problem to production
• Full-stack chops across React/TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and AWS
• The kind of communication that gets buy-in, not just gets understood
