Are you an experienced Software Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity to work across an internal platform? The platform exists to provide space for the engineering teams to build and run on, and has 3 layers: Runtime, Identity and Developer & Agent. Software Engineers work across all 3, with most of the focus on Developer & Agent.

You’ll be turning infrastructure into software products: building the APIs, MCP servers, portals, workflows and integrations that engineers and AI agents use to reach every platform capability, without raising a ticket. The systems your code drives are DNS, load balancers, firewalls, service discovery, identity, secrets and public and private cloud.

You will be the senior technical lead for software engineering across the platform, setting the standards for others to build on while still writing code every week. You’ll work closely with the Network, Systems, DevOps, Reliability and Security engineers, turning what they build into interfaces others can use.

You’ll be coding and using AI Assisted engineering with agentic tools such as Claude, and must have an AI first mindset.

Tech Stack

• Strong backend experience in a statically typed language: C#, Java, Go or Rust
• Experienced with TypeScript for portal and front-end work
• API design: REST or gRPC, OpenAPI, versioning, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC
• Building and running MCP servers or agent tool integrations
• Control planes, policy as code (OPA/Rego or Sentinel) and durable workflows (Temporal desirable)
• Strong infrastructure knowledge: DNS, TLS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls,
• Linux and cloud networking
• IaC with Terraform, containers and CI/CD
• Secrets management with HashiCorp Vault
• Building reliable, observable distributed systems with SLOs
• AI assisted engineering experience with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor
