Principal Solutions Architect - Electrical Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Solutions Architect - Electrical Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape complex infrastructure solutions that support strategic sales efforts and long-term customer needs in a highly technical environment. The position requires a strong blend of electrical engineering expertise, customer-facing leadership, and the ability to translate design decisions into business value. You will partner closely with sales, technical teams, and customers to guide solution strategy, strengthen design integrity, and influence outcomes across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and lead solution strategy for strategic sales and data center infrastructure
• Engage with customers during pre-sales to anticipate long-term needs and risks
• Architect complex infrastructure solutions aligning with customer and strategic goals
• Lead workshops to gather customer requirements and translate technical challenges
• Present technical narratives and justifications during RFPs and design workshops
• Ensure design integrity meets engineering standards and customer outcomes
• Establish and promote architectural standards and best practices

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical infrastructure engineering
• Deep expertise in power and mechanical systems
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and commissioning
• Ability to translate engineering details into business outcomes
• Experience authoring technical content and presenting at industry events
• Exceptional executive communication skills
• History of influencing strategy across teams without formal authority
