What they need

Description Join us in shaping the future of advertising on Amazon devices by leading the technical strategy and execution of innovative ad experiences that connect advertisers with their audiences. As a Principal Tech Program Manager, you'll drive the vision, architecture, and delivery of complex programs that impact millions of customers across Fire TV, Alexa, Fire Tablet, Prime Video, and more.

We're building products that help advertisers reach their desired audiences while delivering relevant, delightful experiences to our end users. You'll work at the intersection of technology and business, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to conceive, design, and develop next-generation ad solutions.

Key job responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large advertising programs, collaborating with engineering, product, and device teams (e.g., FireTV, Alexa, Prime Video) to architect, prototype, and deploy scalable solutions.

Drive technical strategy by balancing business priorities with feasibility, anticipating constraints, and applying data-driven risk mitigation to ensure timely execution.

Manage the complete lifecycle of initiatives—from design and implementation to documentation and measurement—while breaking complex challenges into actionable projects.

Collect requirements, write functional and test specifications, and coordinate scoping, scheduling, and deployment, analyzing cost-benefit trade-offs to prioritize features.

Build cross-functional alliances with advertising infrastructure, device teams, legal, and finance to align roadmaps, secure resources, and drive execution.

Communicate technical status, risks, and strategy to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating between technical and business audiences to align priorities.

Own projects end-to-end, applying pragmatic de-risking and calculated bets to deliver high-impact ad experiences that scale across Amazon’s device ecosystem.

Our team owns advertising businesses spanning Fire TV, Alexa, Fire Tablet, Prime Video, Audio, and Grocery.
