Principal/Snr Engineer, Facilities Operation Engineering

Job Responsibilities;

Facilities Operations

• Ensure 24/7 reliable operation of critical systems including:

o Electrical (HV/LV), UPS, Generators

o HVAC & Cleanroom Systems

o Chilled Water, PCW & Cooling Towers

o CDA & Vacuum Systems

o UPW & Wastewater Treatment Systems

o Fire Protection & Life Safety Systems

• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.

• Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.

Safety, Compliance & Fire Management

• Ensure compliance with WSH, SCDF, Fire Safety Act, environmental, and company EHS requirements.

• Serve as Fire Safety Manager (FSM) or Deputy FSM, maintaining valid SCDF FSM certification.

• Lead fire safety inspections, emergency response planning, evacuation drills, and fire committee activities.

• Manage permit-to-work, LOTO, confined space, and contractor safety programs.

Project & Contractor Management

• Manage facilities service contractors and maintenance performance.

• Support facility expansion, utility upgrades, equipment hook-up, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Ensure facility capacity and infrastructure readiness to meet production requirements.

• Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Mentor engineers and technicians.

• Lead incident response, recovery efforts, and operational excellence initiatives.

• Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost optimization programs.

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Facilities, Energy Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of facilities or electrical engineering experience.

• Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre, or other critical manufacturing environments.

• Valid Singapore Fire Safety Manager (FSM) Certification preferred/required.

• Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility utility systems, reliability engineering, EHS compliance, and contractor management.

• Willing to participate in 24/7 on-call and emergency response duties
