Principle Engineer (Embedded Test)

1. Design and develop scalable, modular, and optimized Test Automation Architectures tailored for embedded systems in industrial cooling and power distribution domains.

2. Define automation standards, patterns, reusable test components, and framework guidelines.

3. Lead end-to-end design of automated test suites

4. Ensure comprehensive test coverage across integration, system, regression, and environmental testing.

5. Define and monitor quality KPIs including: Defect detection efficiency, Automation execution coverage, Protocol timing/throughput metrics, Framework reliability and maintainability

6. Continuously optimize execution time, test reliability, and CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test suites.

Technical Skills-

1. 15 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing, including hands-on automation.

Strong expertise in-

1. Python (framework development), Robot Framework, Selenium for Web UI automation

2. Deep understanding of:

3. BSP, bootloaders, kernel-level behavior

4. Low-level firmware/driver interactions

5. Embedded protocols (Modbus, CAN, RS485, etc.)

6. Experience with hardware tools debugging instruments.

7. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Leadership Skills

1. Ability to drive technical strategy and automation engineering vision.

2. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master s or Bachelor s in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.

2. ISTQB Certification (optional but beneficial).

3. Working knowledge of C/C++ for firmware comprehension.
