Print and Packaging Buyer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Sybron is a leading supplier of cleaning, hygiene and catering products, serving primarily the hospitality industry. As our business continues to grow, we are looking to expand our team with a dedicated and commercially minded Print and Packaging Buyer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you will play an important role in managing supplier relationships, ensuring product availability and supporting our customers with their print and packaging requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, organised and commercially focused Print and Packaging Buyer to join our team.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process across a range of printed and packaging products, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure excellent service, competitive pricing and consistent stock availability.

The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple priorities, negotiating with suppliers and building strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Liaison: Work closely with customers to manage their printed packaging requirements, prepare quotations, confirm artwork and coordinate repeat print runs.
• Purchasing & Stock Management: Raise, process and monitor purchase orders, ensuring products are delivered on time and stock levels are maintained.
• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and onboarding new suppliers where required.
• Pricing & Negotiation: Negotiate competitive prices, lead times and commercial terms to achieve the best value for the business.
• Order Coordination: Manage the purchasing process for both bespoke and standard packaging products, resolving any supply or delivery issues efficiently.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Goods-In team and other departments to ensure smooth operations and accurate stock management.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reduce costs and increase efficiency.
