PCB Design Layout Engineer Description of project and services to be provided:

PCB design support from an experienced contractor to assist the hardware engineering team with PCB layout, component library management, and design documentation.

Project scope: The scope includes PCB layout (schematic-to-layout, high-speed signal routing, mixed-signal, power planes and PDN, DFM/DFA/DFT), component definition and Altium library management, design reviews, generation of fabrication packages, and pre/post-layout simulation support.

** Must have meaningful recent experience with Altium and with high-speed design. Deliverables: Deliverables include completed native Altium PCB layout files,

Gerber/ODB++ packages, assembly and fabrication drawings, library symbols/footprints, DRC/ERC reports, and updated design documentation. Acceptance Criteria and

Procedures: Work is authorized via Task Orders specifying deliverables and target dates. Acceptance is based on adherence to hardware team standards, vendor rules, and participation in design reviews. Working arrangement: Prefer local to Mountain View, CA but okay with exploring remote.
