Job Summary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Technical Systems & Equipment Specialist is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of multifunction devices, production printers, and document management solutions. This role combines technical field service responsibilities with basic systems administration and software configuration tasks.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Install, configure, and support multifunction devices, production systems, other devices, printer solutions.

· Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs of printing and document management equipment.

· Install and configure print drivers, scan drivers, and associated software on workstations, servers, and shared environments.

· Setup and validate scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, secure print, authentication, and workflow automation solutions.

· Assist customers with basic software integration and configuration related to document management and print management solutions.

· Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers experiencing hardware, software, printing, scanning, or connectivity issues.

· Perform functional testing and validation of installed solutions to ensure proper operation.

· Train end-users and customer technical personnel on equipment operation, software functionality, and best practices.

· Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Technical Services, and Help Desk teams to ensure successful equipment deployment and customer satisfaction.

· Maintain detailed service documentation, installation records, and technical reports.

· Support firmware updates, software upgrades, and configuration management activities.

· Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

· Maintain inventory of parts, consumables, and technical tools assigned to the position.

· Follow manufacturer guidelines, company procedures, and customer security requirements.

· Travel to customer locations and manufacturer training facilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS

· Associate Degree or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Systems, Electronics, Networking, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in technical support, field service, systems support, printer/copier maintenance, or related technical environments.

· Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking concepts, and software installation.

Heavy Physical Activity - Heavy physical demand. Continuously raises and/or moves heavy material. Frequently works in difficult positions.

High – Accurate visual activity necessary to prepare and correct documents or products, constantly read electronic mail or operate machinery.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
