About the Role

EduQuest Inc. is looking for a Printing & Binding Operator to support the production of our books and educational materials.

This is a hands-on role responsible for operating printing and bookbinding equipment, preparing materials for production, and ensuring that finished books meet the required quality and production standards.

We are looking for someone with practical experience in printing, bookbinding, or print production who is careful, dependable, and attentive to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Operate printing, binding, cutting, and other finishing equipment used in book production.
• Prepare and set up materials and equipment according to production requirements.
• Print books, modules, learning materials, and other company materials based on approved specifications.
• Perform binding, cutting, trimming, folding, and other finishing processes.
• Inspect printed and bound materials for completeness, alignment, print quality, binding quality, and defects.
• Ensure that pages, covers, and other components are properly arranged before binding.
• Monitor print and binding output and minimize errors, spoilage, and unnecessary material waste.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine care of printing and binding equipment.
• Promptly report equipment problems, material shortages, and production concerns.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe production area.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree graduate, preferably in Industrial Technology, Graphic Arts, Printing Technology, or a related field.
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of hands-on experience in printing, bookbinding, publishing, or print production.
• Experience operating printing, binding, cutting, or finishing equipment is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and able to check finished materials for quality and accuracy.
• Responsible, organized, and able to follow production specifications.
• Willing to perform hands-on production work.
• Willing to work onsite in Cagayan de Oro City.
• Available to work Monday to Saturday.
