Printing Bindery Operator

Job Summary Our client is seeking experienced Bindery Operators to join its growing company. Our client is rapidly expanding and has multiple openings for 1st and/or 2nd shift bindery equipment operators. Full-time positions are available, with potential Saturday overtime as needed.

The primary responsibility is to set up, operate, and maintain commercial bindery equipment, with a strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safe machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain the Polar Paper Cutting System.
• Operate Muller-Martini Minuteman Saddlebinder equipment.
• Operate Stahl folders.
• Operate other general commercial bindery equipment as needed.
• Perform machine setup and adjustments to ensure proper production.
• Monitor equipment operation and maintain consistent production quality.
• Handle folding, cutting, binding, and other paper-finishing processes.
• Maintain equipment and identify operational issues.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Multi-task across production requirements while maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating and maintaining commercial bindery equipment - required.
• Knowledge of commercial printing - required.
• Previous experience with: Saddlebinder equipment, Folders, Paper cutters
• Experience working in a commercial printing facility.
• Strong understanding of paper finishing and bindery operations.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Work Schedule

Hourly Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
