Printing Bindery Operator

Job Overview
Local printing company is seeking a reliable and motivated Bindery Person to join our team.

• Job Setup & Operation: Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and layouts to determine proper folding, cutting, stitching, or binding specifications.
• Machine Operation: Operate commercial bindery equipment—including industrial paper cutters, saddle-stitchers, folding machines, perfect binders, and drill/punch presses.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished and in-process products continuously for defects, misalignments, torn pages, poor binding, or improper trim sizes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including cleaning machines, lubricating moving parts, changing blades/belts, and making minor mechanical adjustments.
• Material Handling & Packaging: Load and unload paper stocks, pack finished items, and operate shrink-wrap or banding systems for shipping.
• Safety & Workspace Standards: Follow all shop safety rules, maintain a clean and organized work area, and safely handle heavy stacks of paper and equipment tools.

What We Offer:

• Full time position
• Hours: 10am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday
• Salary based on experience
• Benefits Package at 90 days
