Job Description

GISS Gift Station Trading is looking for an experienced Printing Machine Operator & Designer to join our production team.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in UV printing, DTF printing, heat pressing, and design. This is a hands-on production position, and the candidate should be comfortable preparing designs, operating printing equipment, troubleshooting basic printing issues, and producing customized products from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate UV printing machines for different customized products and materials.
• Operate and manage DTF printing production.
• Prepare and operate heat press machines for garments and other products.
• Prepare artwork and print-ready files according to customer orders.
• Create, edit, resize, and adjust designs based on product dimensions and customer requirements.
• Work with logos, names, text, images, and customized artwork.
• Ensure correct sizing, positioning, resolution, and colors before printing.
• Perform DTF film preparation, printing, powder application/curing, pressing, and finishing as required.
• Set up UV printing jobs according to the material and product specifications.
• Handle printing and customization of items such as T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, mugs, acrylic items, gifts, promotional products, and other customized merchandise.
• Check print quality before and after production.
• Ensure correct placement and alignment when pressing garments and products.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor printing materials, inks, films, powders, and other consumables and report shortages.
• Reduce printing errors, material waste, and reprints.
• Coordinate with the production supervisor and other workshop departments to complete orders on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized printing and production area.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous hands-on experience operating UV printing machines.
• Previous hands-on experience with DTF printing and heat pressing.
• Graphic design experience is required.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software.
• Ability to prepare professional print-ready artwork.
• Understanding of image resolution, sizing, color, alignment, and printing requirements.
• Experience working in a printing shop, customized gifts company, garment printing company, signage company, or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot common printing and machine issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple production orders and work under deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a production team.
