Printing Press Operator

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced print production operator to join our team. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, working with a range of specialty printing processes to help bring custom paper goods to life. Previous printing experience is required; experience with specialty finishing techniques like embossing, die cutting, foil stamping, and bindery operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with digital printing equipment and specialty finishing processes (embossing, die cutting, foil stamping)
• Perform bindery functions including cutting, folding, scoring, drilling, padding, and finishing
• Assist with offset printing production and setup
• Collation and sorting for multi-piece jobs
• Maintain quality control and attention to detail across print runs
• Keep the shop organized and equipment properly maintained
• Drive to make deliveries and pickups as needed
• Communicate clearly with the team about job status, issues, and timelines

Experience

• Previous experience working in a print shop or printing environment
• Familiarity with specialty processes (embossing, die cutting, foil stamping)
• Reliable and responsible, someone we can count on to show up and follow through
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Punctual, consistent, and detail-oriented
• Eager to learn and grow with the role
• A good attitude and a team-first mindset
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive locally for deliveries
• Ability to lift materials and work around production equipment

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
