Private Client Solicitor

Overview

A well established Romford firm is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional legal services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to handle a range of private client matters, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, probate and full estate administration and applications for Grant of Probate.

The role has an established workflow and strong local reputation, meaning the role is primarily focused on client care and delivery rather than heavy business development pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private client work, including drafting wills, setting up trusts, administering estates, lasting powers of attorney
• Be able to work independently
• Conduct thorough due diligence and legal research to support case preparation and ensure compliance with current legislation
• Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs and delivering personalised legal solutions along with good communication skills
• Maintain meticulous case records, ensure timely progress updates, and adhere to all regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or legal professional with experience in private client law or related fields
• Demonstrated expertise in estate planning, wills, trusts, probate administration, or succession law
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients’ interests
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
• Detail-oriented approach with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment
• A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding client service

Pay: £48,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
