Private Dining Specialist

Summary

Park Hyatt Washington is seeking a Blue Duck Tavern Private Dining Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with both Sales and Food and Beverage experience! Key Responsibilities:

The Private Dining Specialist is responsible for booking reservations, selling and servicing private events, and selling and servicing Chef’s tables for the restaurant. This position works closely with Blue Duck Tavern Managers in contract negotiations and servicing accounts.

Duties also include but are not limited to:

• Negotiating and reviewing contracts
• Communicating with multiple departments before, during, and post event to ensure elevated service expectations are met
• Hosting site inspections
• Planning menus
• Setting event agendas
• Communicating hotel meeting services and amenities to clients
• Coordinating with clients and hotel team members for special VIP requests
• Participating in and/or leading event meetings and other staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Prior F&B and/or Sales experience preferred
• Prior hotel experience, especially luxury hotel experience, preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Full-time availability required

Hourly Range:

Starting hourly rate of $27.50 per hour, based on experience, as well as the opportunity to earn additional incentive-based compensation.
