Private Equity Associate

We are partnering with a leading private markets investment firm to hire a Private Equity Associate to support its investment activities across private equity secondaries and fund investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across private equity funds, secondary transactions and other private markets strategies.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and investment modelling to assess potential investment opportunities.
• Analyse fund performance, portfolio company fundamentals, market trends and investment risks.
• Prepare investment memoranda, financial models, presentations and materials for investment committee discussions.
• Conduct research on private equity managers, underlying portfolio companies and relevant industry sectors.
• Monitor existing investments and prepare portfolio performance updates and reporting.
• Work closely with internal investment professionals and external stakeholders throughout the investment process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, fund investments or a related investment-focused role.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with private equity fund structures, secondary transactions and private markets is advantageous.
• Strong commercial judgement, attention to detail and the ability to assess complex investment opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear investment materials.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.
