Internship - Fortino Capital Private Equity (NL/EN)

Start Date: February 2027

Duration: 6 months (some flexibility if needed)

Location: Amsterdam

What awaits you?

You'll get the chance to work alongside our Dutch Private Equity team gaining first-hand experience in the who and why we invest in some of the brightest B2B SaaS tech companies in Europe.

Deep Dive into the Role:

• You will be assisting the partners and private equity investment-team in the deal-flow processes up to the negotiations with potential portfolio companies
• You will take care of the valuation and analysis of potential investment cases as well as related market, industry and technology deep-dives
• You will proactively research and analyse market and industry trends to identify the best private equity companies and management teams
• You will give operative support to portfolio companies in online marketing, company building, business development and sales
• You will create investment proposals and presentations for internal and external use

About you:

• You are currently enrolled in, or have recently graduated from, a university program in finance, business, engineering, or a related field.
• You have a deep understanding of digital business-models combined with the analytical skill-set for data-based evaluation
• You already have some experience in private-equity, growth equity, high-growth start-ups, investment banking, strategy-consulting, or another fast-paced professional environment
• You're a humble team player who is able to contribute to a positive work environment
• You'll be fluent in Dutch and have an excellent command of English coupled with strong interpersonal and digital communication skills
• You are able to work from Amsterdam at least 4 days a week
