Private home housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Private Home Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall comfort of a 4 story 5 bedroom town house split over 4 floors private residence. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional service in a personalized setting, ensuring the home remains pristine, welcoming, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to their work, creating a positive environment for the household.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and tidying of all living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Prepare and cook meals according to household preferences and dietary requirements
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens
• Maintain janitorial standards by sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and disposing of waste properly
• Provide attentive customer service by anticipating household needs and addressing requests promptly
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and kitchen ingredients are stocked and organized efficiently
• Support with light errands or household management tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in domestic cleaning or janitorial services; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is highly valued
• Skilled in cooking with the ability to prepare nutritious and appealing meals
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Reliable, proactive, and discreet with a professional attitude
• Familiarity with household appliances and cleaning equipment; certification or experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is a plus
• Flexibility to adapt to the household’s schedule and specific needs

This role will also include a separate 2 bedroom Apartment within a short 5 minute Walk away from the location and same distance to the high street.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
