Role Overview

We are seeking experienced, passionate, and dependable tutors to support high school students in math. Tutors should be confident teaching subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 through Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and beyond.

This role is ideal for educators looking to build strong relationships with families and support students consistently throughout the entire 2026-2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide one-on-one instruction in middle and/or high school math subjects
✅ Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on each student’s needs
✅ Use research-based teaching strategies and adjust instruction as needed
✅ Monitor and track student progress over time
✅ Communicate regularly and clearly with parents/guardians about goals and growth

Qualifications

✔ Strong background in math education (Algebra through Pre-Calculus; Calculus a plus)
✔ Experience tutoring or teaching middle and/or high school students
✔ Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (preferred)
✔ Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently
✔ Excellent communication and organizational skills
✔ Ability to commute reliably to students’ homes in Paradise Valley and/or Scottsdale
✔ Willingness to commit to tutoring students for the entire 2026-27 school year
✔ Professional, dependable, and passionate about student success

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 1 – 5 per week
Schedule: After school and early evening hours; weekends optional
