Join CanalScape Counseling Associates, a self-pay, private practice located in the heart of Broad Ripple. Flexible hours, an empowering employment structure, and continued mentorship make this a unique opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Field contacts from prospective clients, screen for appropriate fit, and schedule intakes
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment process, scheduling, and appropriate boundaries
• Collect payments from clients at time of session
• Provide high-quality clinical care to clients
• Complete brief, complete, timely clinical documentation of each session and each client contact
• Participate in bi-weekly mentorship to continue to grow your clinical skills and further develop as a professional
• Engage in marketing and networking activities to promote your services in the community
• Provide a minimum of 12 hours per week of direct client care

Required Qualifications

• Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling
• Full License in Marriage & Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling
• Highly self-directed and internally motivated to do good clinical work
• Enthusiasm for learning and an ability to incorporate feedback to improve skills
• Confidence in competency with clients
• Ability to directly and clearly communicate needs
• Strong sense of ethics and knowledge of appropriate boundaries in therapeutic relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience seeing clients in a private practice setting (can include an internship or training center) or 1+ year of job experience in a related field (such as education, health care, chaplaincy, etc).
• Interest/experience with neurodiversity/neurodivergent clients (adults & teens)
• Interest/experience with couples therapy
• Interest/experience with postmodern methods of therapy (Collaborative, Narrative, Solution-Focused)

Compensation

Compensation is commission based and will be based on the number of sessions billed and completed each week; $70,000-80,0000 annual income can be earned by averaging 20 sessions per week.

Start Date

Start date is negotiable. Start dates between 11/1/26 and 12/15/26 are preferred.
