Private Practice Therapist – Now Hiring (Licensed or Pre‑Licensed)

Magnolia Counseling is a growing private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence‑based mental health care. We have been providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for the last 10 years. We are expanding and recently opened a new office location in Emmaus, PA.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our private practice. Clinical supervision is available for those working toward licensure. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of experience counseling children and adolescents. This is a W‑2 or 1099 position, depending on your preference, with flexible scheduling and the ability to work primarily in‑person with some virtual hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or family therapy using evidence‑based approaches to children, adolecents, and parents.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress
• Participate in team meetings, consultations, or supervision as needed
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing boards
• Maintain a consistent caseload aligned with your interests and goals

Qualifications Required

• Master’s degree or doctoral degree in a mental health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology)
• Active state license or pre‑licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSW, LAPC)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to culturally responsive care
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Preferred

• Experience providing therapy in outpatient or private practice settings
• Training in specialized modalities (e.g., TFCBT, Play Therapy, CBT, EMDR, DBT, EFT, ACT)

Pay: $53.00 - $75.00 per hour
