Private Property Groundskeeper

We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Groundskeeper to maintain a private 20+ acre property with extensive lawn areas, mature trees, a park, pond, and wooded areas.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, notices what needs to be done, and takes pride in keeping the property clean, safe, and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Mow and maintain large lawn areas
• Weed-eat and edge around trees, fences, buildings, pond areas, and landscaping
• Trim trees, remove limbs, brush, leaves, and debris
• Maintain park, pond, and wooded areas
• Perform seasonal and storm cleanup
• Minor carpentry/deck repair and painting, staining.
• Operate and maintain lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, chainsaws, and other equipment
• Perform routine service and minor repairs on lawn mowers, weed eaters, and small-engine equipment
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized

Qualifications

• Groundskeeping, landscaping, farming, ranch, or similar outdoor maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience operating lawn and landscaping equipment
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair small-engine equipment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions

We are looking for someone who is reliable, mechanically inclined, and takes ownership of keeping a large private property looking its best.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
