Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and more.
• Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Implement differentiated instruction and instructional modifications to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with autism or special needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Analyze student performance data to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and tailor instructional approaches accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming assessments through conferences and written reports.
• Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development, school events, and educational initiatives to ensure cohesive program delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs.
• Proficiency in integrating educational technology, including LMS platforms and learning software, into daily lessons.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of curriculum implementation standards, standardized testing procedures, and childhood development principles.
• Experience working with students from various cultural backgrounds and implementing inclusive teaching practices.
• Background in literacy education, math instruction, physical education, or tutoring is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and support academic growth.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
