In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, access control, and emergency response. Your expertise in security systems, law enforcement procedures, and customer service will ensure the safety and well-being of everyone on site. Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems including surveillance cameras and access control systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage physical security measures such as patrols, perimeter checks, and heavy lifting when necessary to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing appropriate protocols such as first aid, CPR, or contacting emergency services.
• Write detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
• Perform routine inspections of security equipment and facilities to identify vulnerabilities or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to security incidents or violations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with knowledge of security systems and surveillance technology.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable; additional training in emergency response is a plus.
• Strong understanding of physical security practices, access control systems, and operational management procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear reports and effectively manage conflict situations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and documentation purposes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks, enforce compliance with security regulations, and manage team operations if applicable.
