Private Teacher / Home Educator for Three Boys

About Us
We’re a family in Isabela looking for a dedicated, energetic teacher to provide in-home instruction for our three boys, ages 11, 11, and 9. All three are in the same grade (upper elementary), so you’ll be teaching one cohesive class rather than juggling multiple levels. We want someone who will become a consistent, trusted part of our kids’ education and help them grow academically and personally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver upper-elementary lessons in core subjects (reading, writing, math, science, social studies)
• Teach all three boys together as one class, with room to challenge each one individually
• Track progress and give regular updates to parents
• Keep lessons engaging, using hands-on, project-based, and outdoor learning where it fits
• Maintain structure, routine, and positive behavior during school hours

Requirements

• Must live in Puerto Rico, within commuting distance of Isabela
• Teaching experience (classroom, homeschool, tutoring, or private instruction)
• Fluent in English
• Reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check
• Patient, organized, and able to keep three bright, active boys engaged and on task

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Teaching certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience with homeschool or small-group settings
• CPR/First Aid certification
