Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer

Hybrid - Dallas , TX (3x/week onsite) Contract Job Description

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building, deploying, and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain PAM solutions across virtualized and cloud environments.
• Demonstrate strong expertise with PAM technologies such as CyberArk, Delinea/Thycotic, BeyondTrust, or similar platforms.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems supporting PAM infrastructure.
• Configure and manage PAM deployments across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Leverage strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, Active Directory, SSH, SSL/TLS, and firewall concepts.
• Engineer, maintain, and optimize secure PAM infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Perform PAM platform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management with minimal downtime.
• Lead or support PAM modernization initiatives, including migrations and infrastructure enhancements.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies and business continuity plans for PAM environments.
• Improve operational resiliency through automation, monitoring, backup, failover, and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant PAM deployments.
